The Hidden Parables, Activating the Secret Power of the Gospels, By Todd Michael
In The Hidden Parables, the thirty-two enigmatic parables spoken by Christ are meticulously retranslated retaining the expressiveness of the original Greek and giving the reader a literal understanding of the words of Christ. Michael’s reconsideration unveils a hidden layer of meaning, which shows that the parables are not a random collection of stories, but a unified system of knowledge.
This integrated system of knowledge describes how to use the spiritual law of thought forms-or controlled intentions–to create more beneficial, more miraculous circumstances in our personal lives. The information it presents is clear and very useful. Moreover, this system bears an uncanny symmetry with many of today’s leading-edge ideas from quantum physics. In The Hidden Parables, those aspects of Christ’s words that are sometimes considered confounding are freshly revealed for their penetrating insights about human existence and the hands-on methodology the insights provide for greater self-understanding and for leading a more fulfilling life.

Todd Michael meticulously retranslates the parable of the loaves and fishes, and makes an astonishing discovery: Below the surface-deep within the subtleties of the original Greek-lies a carefully hidden layer of information. Here, the actual technique of the miracle is revealed in the form of twelve precise and realistic steps to extraordinary living.
Scholarly, inspiring, and amazingly consistent with contemporary metaphysical thought, The Twelve Conditions of a Miracle is essential reading if you want to work a transformation in your own life.
Living in the Light, by Shakti Gawain
In Living in the Light, Shakti Gawain introduced a powerful new way of life: that of listening to one’s own intuition and relying on it as a guiding force. In the newly revised edition of that classic work, she elaborates on her original ideas, adding aspects of her own experiences and learning process over the past twelve years. In addition to balancing feminine and masculine energies, she now examines several other fundamental polarities we all have, such as power and vulnerability. Everyone’s life journey involves developing the full range of self and acknowledging all aspects of one’s personality — including both light facets and dark.
The Treasure of El Dorado, by Joseph Whitfield
Amazon Reader Review – Without a doubt, The Treasure of El Dorado is one of my most precious books. One that can be read and re-read time and again and always a new message will be received. It is a “timeless” book with eternal metaphysical information about achieving the Mastery of Life.
Joseph Whitfield is the psudoname of Lee Blount, a financial businessman who was highly regarded in the upper circles of banking and the financial world in Washington, DC. He was approached by his Inner Self to receive the information for this book, which not only amazed him, but changed his life forever. He also wrote another, equally revealing book called The Eternal Quest, one that reveals more of who we really are in the grand scheme of the eternal world. It is often said that “When the student is ready, the Master will appear.” So here is the student’s “lesson” book. Each chapter reveals important life lessons that are repeated timelessly throughout the ages.
Voices from Ancient Bethlehem, A Dialogue with Jesus and the Twelve Apostles, by The Scribe
Amazon Reader Review – Through the wonders of soul travel, Jesus the Christ is finally able to set the record straight for his followers after more than 2,000 years. He is given a Voice that can’t be altered or mis-construed. It’s straight talk from His Heart, and there are some surprising revelations about how He feels about the outcome of His mission. I was moved by the sense of this great Master’s presence within each word – it’s like He’s there with you, gently sitting by your side. I like the candor of this book and how it allows Jesus to convey what he really wanted to teach, what His mission was truly about all those centuries ago. You can hear His longing and heartache along with the deep wisdom and love whispering through the pages of this book. This is a REAL person, a Man with the strength of His Divinity and the vulnerability of His humanity. I loved reading all the gospels from the beloved Apostle Peter to Mary Magdelene. Mary’s story is particularly haunting as she reveals the Love Story to beat all love stories. I finished the book yesterday and am consuming it again because it’s such a great read – highly recommended!

Reviews:
“This book takes one on a great journey through profound experiences of many, including the author Andrew Harvey. It engages each one of us in the most important inquiry for today’s world: who am I in the emerging narrative, in creating new patterns for a world that works for everyone? It is about the compassion of our sacred space and the courage to create alternatives where needed.” Dr. Monica Sharma Director, Leadership and Capacity Development, United Nations-OHRLLS
“Sacred activism is the most potent after effect of our inner spiritual practices. When the heart explodes in conscious oneness with the Beloved, what remains is a burning desire to be a servant to the One that enlivens all sentient beings, every speck of space. Through his descriptions of the great lovers of humankind, Andrew gives us a clarion call to go beyond admiration to activation of that same capacity within our own hearts that we, too, may become a beneficial presence on the planet.” Michael Bernard Beckwith author of Spiritual Liberation~Fulfilling Your Soul’s Potential
Love Child: A Memoir of Family Lost and Found, by Allegra Huston
When Allegra Huston was four years old, her mother was killed in a car crash. Soon afterward, she was introduced to an intimidating man wreathed in cigar smoke — the legendary film director John Huston — with the words, “This is your father.”
So began an extraordinary odyssey: from the magical Huston estate in Ireland to the Long Island suburbs to a hidden paradise in Mexico — and, at the side of her older sister, Anjelica, into the hilltop retreats of Jack Nicholson, Ryan O’Neal, and Marlon Brando. Allegra’s is the penetrating gaze of an outsider never quite sure if she belongs in this rarefied world and of a motherless child trying to make sense of her famous, fragmented family. Then, at the age of twelve, Allegra’s precarious sense of self was shattered when she was, once more, introduced to her father — her real one this time, the British aristocrat and historian John Julius Norwich.
At the heart of Love Child is Allegra’s search through the unreliable certainties of memory for the widely adored mother she never knew — the ghost who shadowed her childhood and left her in a web of awkward and unwelcome truths. With clear-eyed tenderness, Allegra tells of how she forged bonds with both her famous fathers, transforming her mother’s difficult legacy into a hard-won blessing. Beautifully written and forensically honest, Love Child is a seductive insight into one of Hollywood’s great dynasties and the story of how, in a family that defied convention, one woman found her balance on the shifting sands of conflicting loyalties.
Reviews:
“This extraordinary book reveals the all but unendurable sorrow of loss, and the difficulties of those unwilling to live in a world without love. Because Huston’s concerns are with what she has seen and learned, rather than with alienation and the affixing of blame, her memoir glimmers with triumphant wisdom” Susanna Moore, author of The Big Girls and In the Cut
Reunion: How We Heal Our Broken Connection to the Earth (Volume 1), by Ellen Gunter
From the earliest mythologies, it’s clear we all start as a little bit of dirt. But these stories aren’t just entertaining. They also carry a profound message: each of us is born with a deep and abiding connection to the earth, one that many of us have lost touch with. The authors, Ellen Gunter and Ted Carter, spent more than two years interviewing organic and biodynamic farmers, environmentalists, filmmakers, authors, farming advocates, teachers, and spiritual leaders to understand how that connection is present in our lives-and how we can begin to see it ourselves. Using historical narratives, dozens of simple and profound practices and examples of people whose adventures in earth stewardship are showing us the way to our own roles in the world’s environmental crises, REUNION: HOW WE HEAL OUR CONNECTION TO THE EARTH is about how we rediscover and repair that connection ourselves-and by doing that, open ourselves up to solutions we had never considered before.
From the foreword by Caroline Myss:
“Reunion is a book that should be required reading for every single person. Something radical has changed in us and it’s not good. We have strayed from our fundamental nature and we must find our way back to our primary rapport with the earth and our own life instincts before we lose sight of those precious instincts entirely.”
Reviews:
“Ellen Gunter and Ted Carter have done us all a very great favor in crafting a magnificent book about the dangers our world faces and the immediate and practical things we all can do to start helping its transformation. Reunion is at once exalted and down home, fierce and open souled, and all those who have the luck to read it will be sobered by what we face and radically inspired to do something real about it. I have learned a great deal from this book and cannot recommend it highly enough.” Andrew Harvey, author of The Hope: A Guide to Sacred Activism
A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose, by Eckhart Tolle (the 61st selection for Oprah’s Book Club)
Building on the astonishing success of The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle presents readers with an honest look at the current state of humanity: He implores us to see and accept that this state, which is based on an erroneous identification with the egoic mind, is one of dangerous insanity.
Tolle tells us there is good news, however. There is an alternative to this potentially dire situation. Humanity now, perhaps more than in any previous time, has an opportunity to create a new, saner, more loving world. This will involve a radical inner leap from the current egoic consciousness to an entirely new one.
In illuminating the nature of this shift in consciousness, Tolle describes in detail how our current ego-based state of consciousness operates. Then gently, and in very practical terms, he leads us into this new consciousness. We will come to experience who we truly are–which is something infinitely greater than anything we currently think we are–and learn to live and breathe freely.
Reviews:
“I think one of the most important questions that people ask in life is who am I, and why am I here? This book gets as close to an answer as any book could ever get.” Jim Carrey
“When you get it, it’s like a key turning inside you [Eckhart] Tolle offers that bridge from this unconscious state that we live in to the state that we are evolving towards, like it or not.” Russell Simmons
Sacred Contracts: Awakening Your Divine Potential, By Carolyn Myss
New York Times bestselling author and medical intuitive Caroline Myss has found that when people don’t understand their purpose in life the result can be depression, anxiety, fatigue, and eventually physical illness—in short, a spiritual malaise of epidemic proportions. Myss’s experience of working with people led her to develop an insightful and ingenious process for deciphering your own Sacred Contract—or higher purpose—using a new theory of archetypes that builds on the works of Jung, Plato, and many other contemporary thinkers.
Myss examines the lives of the spiritual masters and prophets—Abraham, Jesus, Buddha, and Muhammad—whose archetypal journeys illustrate the four stages of a Sacred Contract and provide clues for discovering your own. Myss explains how you can identify your particular spiritual energies, or archetypes—the gatekeepers of your higher purpose—and use them to help you find out what you are here on earth to learn and whom you are meant to meet. Exploring your Sacred Contract will shine a light on the purpose and meaning of your life. You are meant to do certain tasks, you are meant to have certain relationships.
In coming to know your archetypal companions, you also begin to see how to live your life in ways that make the best use of your personal power and lead you to fulfill your greatest—in fact, your divine—potential.
Both visionary and practical, Sacred Contracts is a bold, powerful work of spiritual wisdom. Without a doubt, your most intriguing challenge in life is to recognize your spiritual commitments and live them to the fullest.
